I call my pure abstract works Mindscapes. Mindscapes are impressions of my mind which over the years have experienced feelings both negative and positive, resentment and excitement, turmoil and calm, agony and ecstasy, devastation and hope. Mindscapes are feelings of an erstwhile suppressed mind, which decided to open up to uninhibited creativity, with a dazzling clarity of purpose. Mindscapes are therefore not deliberately created. They started emerging, taking shape in form and colour. They unfolded when I surrendered myself to these basic geometric forms and combined them with colours coming to fore in my mind.
